Hey Oppo, it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything! Just wanted to share some pics I took of the MR2. Pics I took... for the eBay listing :’((((((

It's time for a dad-mobile. My wife and I had twin boys this past November, which is why I haven't been around much. I'm selling this for cash for a down payment and trading in the TL-S for something with three rows. I'm thinking Flex or CX-9, what do you guys think?

At this point, all car sales in the nation should go through oppo, at least for editorial purposes. You do need some engine bay and interior pics though. Sorry you have to sell.

Yeah it kind of sucks, but my wife works evenings so we both need kiddie mobiles. I figure I'd get one I'd enjoy

Flex is sexy. CX-9 is reliable. MR2 is tiny and dangerous.

Yep! Underneath is clean, no rust at all! There’s only a spot on one of the wheel arches and under the front bumper.

They’re only going to get more expensive! I know your hands are tied, but selling for under $10k is still near the bottom of the depreciation curve.

Haha I can see SW20's going up too! Part of the problem is I don't have a garage to keep it in, otherwise I might keep it a bit longer. I stored it last winter but that's just going to eat away my profit if I do it again this year. It's not just because I had a couple kids, I think the time is right to sell it

Yeah that’s the hard part isn’t it. It might be worth 10x as much in its current condition 20 years from now. But storing and maintaining it in this condition for that long costs money itself, let alone the effort involved in it all.

I was going to keep it, but then I had to sink another $125 into my stupid Acura over the weekend. I test drove some cars this weekend and I think I need to sell the mr2 to get the one I want. Call up Louwmans and see if they want it?!

Louwman has, next to his private collection on display in Wassenaar, a collection of Toyotas (Louwman is the Toyota importer for The Netherlands) as well. I’d be surprised if they didn’t have this one but I’ll ask for you. Yours is in excellent condition, right?
